A few hours from Paris, on the southern route, the MuséoParc Alésia offers you to relive ancient history in a fun way. This unique place retraces the history of the Battle of Alésia through exhibitions, reconstructions and games to the delight of visitors, young and old.

The famous battle of the Gallic Wars which marked so much the history of France (and of comics!) Is presented at the MuséoParc Alésia, in Alise-Sainte-Reine.

Inaugurated in 2012, the MuséoParc Alésia Interpretation Center, a circular building symbolizing the encirclement of the Gauls by the Romans during the battle, was designed by the architect Bernard Tschumi. Nearby, the Roman fortifications have been reconstructed from archaeological excavations and ancient texts. The visitor is thus immersed in the heart of history.

A few steps away, the public is invited to visit the remains of the Gallo-Roman city and to compete with the statue of Vercingétorix ...
