Inaugurated in 2012, the MuséoParc Alésia Interpretation Center, a circular building symbolizing the encirclement of the Gauls by the Romans during the battle, was designed by the architect Bernard Tschumi. Nearby, the Roman fortifications have been reconstructed from archaeological excavations and ancient texts. The visitor is thus immersed in the heart of history.
